What People are saying about Fabbian Homes

To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and thanks for a job well done to all those who had a hand in creating our beautiful home.
Several years ago, just newly graduated, my husband and I bought a brand new home in Georgetown. We were more than excited and a little naive as we watched its walls slowly rise and the home take shape. However, even to our novice eyes, we could see the lack of care being taken, poor quality material, and damage to materials still being used. In the end, the snail’s pace with which it progressed resulted in us being delayed 4 months for possession. It still was far finished when we moved in; pieces of counter missing, missing trim, paint spilled on stair woodwork and stained over, plastic hanging out of the ceiling, missing bathroom doors, missing basement windows and all windows screens and all window cranks. The list went on for pages! Even elements of design that had attracted us to the house were missing. All in all, it was a very stressful and negative experience. In the end, the company just disappeared and stopped returning our calls and we had to do the rest ourselves.
When looking for a house this time around, we were having no luck with re-sales. But when I suggested we look at new builds, my husband flushed red and nearly broke out in hives. His exact words were “I can’t believe you’re considering going down that road again.” After a few days though, I was able to convince him and we went looking. By chance we happened on Fabbian Homes. Coincidentally, we had looked at one of your homes up the street as a resale. Although we had loved it and it was beautiful, it had been a little too small for our needs. We sat down with Elizabeth McKee and when she said the words “We have never missed a closing.” We were hooked.
Signing the papers to build was nerve-wracking for both of us, but we would come to quickly realize that this would be a very different experience. Elizabeth has a way of setting your minds at ease and even managed to be in on a few conspiracies between my husband and I that allowed us to surprise each other and have a little fun. Christine Weech has been our other ‘go to’ person and we can always rely on her getting back to us. She never falls down in what she is asked to do. Reliability at yet another step of the process. Seeing Jason Fabbian stopping in every once in a while to the sales office comforted us further, showing that he was very much involved with the homes he was building. He even came and caulked our shower when it started leaking after we took possession. Finally, Ray, the general contractor, has been forthcoming and honest. He spent the time to explain the home to us on several levels and has been friendly and approachable. Refreshingly, he failed to make a single excuse for any deficiencies present and promised to fix them. He even pointed out a few changed he made in ductwork that eliminated unsightly bulkheads in our kitchen. For this we are thankful.
Every step of this process has been positive and we have been left free to watch our beautiful home progress on time, and then move in. We are so incredibly thankful for the work of everyone; from the quality crafts-people who work for Fabbian, to the people like those mentioned above, who keep the wheels turning and keep them well oiled. My husband and I are profoundly thankful for all your hand work and wouldn’t hesitate for an instant to recommend your company to anyone we meet.
To Jason Fabbian, Christine Weech, Elizabeth McKee and all those that make Fabbian Fine Homes a success.
Thank you,
The McHutchinson’s
